Guitar amp load box with built-in Radial JDX and Phazer™

Dynamic Duo

The Headload is a combinaon load box and

aenuator that is capable of handling up to

130 was RMS of connuous power and peaks

of 180 was. Inserted between the head and

cabinet, it allows the guitar amp to be driven

hard while reducing the output level to reduce

the sound pressure on stage or provide the

means for quiet recording in the studio. This

enables the arst to opmize the tone from the

guitar amplier without having to perform at

ear-blistering levels. In addion to the 8 ohm

speaker cabinet outputs, the Headload comes

with a built-in Radial JDX direct box. This is

coupled with a 6-posion voicing switch that

lets you choose the desired amp and cabinet

emulaon. This is supplemented with a 2-band

EQ for ne tuning or used to eliminate overly

harsh harmonics that are produced by some

ampliers.

For engineers who prefer to combine

a microphone with a direct feed, the Headload

has also been ouied with a Radial Phazer -

phase alignment tool. This enables the stage

tech to align the direct feed with the mic and

dial-in the ideal mix on stage. The Headload

is made in Canada from 14 gauge steel and is

supported with a 3 year transferable warranty.

JDI and JDI Duplex, the JDI Stereo is a

simple 2-channel version of the original.

Built in the same rugged enclosure

as the single channel version, the JDI

stereo saves space and oers simplied

connecvity compared to the Duplex.

The same Jensen transformers that made

the JDI famous can be found inside,

eliminang hum and buzz while handling

excessively hot levels with ease.

to make a stereo version of the J48, and it

has nally arrived! A 2-channel version of

the number one acve DI in professional

touring, the J48 Stereo features the

same signal path and unique switching

power supply as the original. This allows

for increased headroom along with the

ability to li the audio ground without

losing phantom power. Best of all, the

J48 Stereo is built using the same rugged

enclosure as the single channel version,

saving space and the need to tape boxes

together!

Headload Prodigy

™

Small Size, Big Sound

Compact guitar amp load box

The Headload Prodigy is a combinaon load box

and DI that enables one to drive a guitar amp at

a higher output to maximize tone, yet produce

a lower output volume when needed. As a load

box, the Prodigy allows the user to aenuate

the output from 20% down to 1% for use on

quiet stages or studio. As a DI, the Prodigy

features a built-in JDX Reactor amplier DI that

combines a reacve load with a proprietary

lter bank that emulates the tone of a 4x12

half-stack with a Shure SM-57. The Prodigy can

also be used without a cabinet for completely

silent recording via the JDX output. To opmize

the playing experience with in-ear monitor

systems and stage wedge monitors, the Prodigy

includes a dual band EQ on the front panel. It

also features a built-in headphone amplier,

making it a perfect quiet-pracce companion.
